Transport Chairs

Transport chairs are wheelchairs without the large self propel wheel.  Removing the big wheels makes the chair lighter for caregivers to push and easier to lift the chair into a car.  It also makes the chair narrower to fit through small doorways and gives a tighter turning radius.  Most transport chairs fold so they are easy to put in and out of a vehicle.  The transport chair can be a vital piece of equipment to help caregivers and clients get around in more places.

Transport chairs are available with options and choices, such as hand-activated cable brakes, removable arms, desk or full length armrests, 12″ rear wheel for better suspension, and colors.  Frames can be made of aluminum or steel, come in different seat widths and support various user weights.
